The ABB V18347 (model TZIDC - 120) is an electronically configurable positioner designed for mounting on pneumatic linear or rotary actuators. It features a compact design and modular construction, offering an excellent cost-performance ratio. With a microprocessor control, it can automatically determine and adapt control parameters to the final control element, achieving optimal control behavior and saving commissioning time. An I/P module with a pneumatic amplifier is used to control the pneumatic actuator, proportionally converting the electrical signal from the CPU into a pneumatic signal to adjust a 3/3-way valve, and continuously adjusting the air flow for the actuator. It has four pneumatic versions for single-acting or double-acting actuators, each with "fail-safe" or "fail-freeze" functions.
The TZIDC-120 is an electronically configurable positioner with communication capabilities designed for mounting to pneumatic linear or rotary actuators. It features a small and compact design, a modular construction, and an excellent cost-performance ratio.
