Emerson Rosemount 3301 Guided Wave Radar Level Transmitter
Product Description
Rosemount™ 3301 Level Transmitter - Guided Wave Radar
For level measurements, Rosemount 3301 Level Transmitter provides a reliable and cost effective solution for liquid applications. The Rosemount 3301 has no moving parts, needs no calibration and is virtually unaffected by process conditions. With top down level and interface measurements you are in total control of your level.
 Measuring principle
The 3301 Guided Wave Radar Level Transmitter low-power, nanosecond microwave pulses through a guided wave rod immersed in the process medium for liquid level measurement. When microwave pulses encounter media with different dielectric constants, a portion of the energy is reflected back to the transmitter.
Advantage
Rosemount 3300 Series
Guided Wave Radar Level and Interface Transmitter
Direct and accurate liquid level measurement, unaffected by variable process conditions. It also has leak proof ability and reliable performance under complex conditions.
Suitable for small storage tanks with complex geometric shapes or the presence of interfering substances, and not affected by the mechanical design of bypass pipes.
Multiple installation methods, from top to bottom, can minimize the risk of leakage.
By using a THUM adapter in conjunction with Hart and Modbus ® Or IEC 62591 (WirelessHart) ®) Seamless integration.
When adjusting, there is no need to open the storage tank, and there are no mechanical movable parts that need maintenance, greatly reducing maintenance costs.
