Masoneilan SVI™ II AP (Smart Valve Interface, Advanced Performance) is a 32 bit microprocessor digital valve positioner with a local interface that controls a pneumatic actuator using a two-wire 4-20mA control signal. The instrument offers bi-directional communication using the HART® protocol. Its universal design offers ease of retrofit in place of existing analog positioners on Masoneilan or non-Masoneilan pneumatic actuators, either single-acting or double-acting.

Feature
Non-contact Sensor: No mechanical moving parts, providing longer life, simple mounting, and high positioning accuracy (capable of measuring movements of 0.00015 %), and resisting vibration, temperature, and corrosion due to the durable metal housing design.
Auto Functions: Built-in auto-stop function for accurate zero and span setting of the control, and built-in auto-tuning function to set valve positioning parameters.
Universal Design: Suitable for various pneumatic actuators (single-acting or double-acting, different brands), reducing inventory as one type can be used for multiple valve types with appropriate mounting kits.
Digital Communication: Bi-directional HART communication enables remote access for configuration, monitoring, and diagnostics.
LCD Display (Optional): Allows local set-up without a handheld configurator and shows position, signal, and air supply information.
High Flow Capacity: The two-stage pneumatic system offers fast and accurate positioning for small or large setpoint changes.
