The Rosemount 248 Wireless Temperature Transmitter is a cost-effective and reliable wireless solution for process monitoring. Coupled with the self-organizing network of WirelessHART® technology, this transmitter delivers single point temperature measurement data, even in remote locations. The internal antenna of this wireless transmitter is compact and lightweight and the engineered polymer housing provides superior resistance to process environments.
The 248 wireless temperature transmitter enables optimization of plant efficiency and increased measurement reliability with industry-proven capabilities and specifications. The 248 features a one-year stability rating that reduces maintenance costs. User-centric device dashboards communicate open/short sensor diagnostics to assist with detecting issues in the sensor loop. Compensation for ambient temperatures enhances transmitter performance, and four user-configurable alerts provide increased process information and measurement point insight.
