Product Description
Yokogawa Ejx110A Ejx120A, Ejx130A, Ejx310A, Ejx430A Differential Pressure Transmitter
YOKOGAWA Differential Pressure Transmitter EJX110A
The high performance diff erential pressure transmitter EJX110A features single crystal silicon resonant sensor and is suitable to measure liquid, gas, or steam fl ow as well as liquid level, density and pressure. EJX110A outputs a 4 to 20 mA DC signal corresponding to the measured diff erential pressure.
Its highly accurate and stable sensor can also measure the static pressure which can be shown on the integral indicator or remotely monitored via BRAIN or HART communications. Other key features include quick response, remote set-up using communications, diagnostics and optional status output for pressure high/low alarm.
The multi-sensing technology provides the advanced diagnostic function to detect such abnormalities as an impulse line blockage or heat trace breakage.
FOUNDATION Fieldbus and PROFIBUS PA protocol types are also available. All EJX series models in their standard confi guration, with the exception of the Fieldbus and PROFIBUS types, are certifi ed as complying with SIL 2 for safety requirement

Type
Gauge pressure transmitter
Measuring Range
Gauge pressure: 0–100 Pa to 0–40 MPa (varies by model; specific ranges include 0–1 kPa, 0–10 kPa, 0–100 kPa, 0–1 MPa, 0–10 MPa, 0–40 MPa, etc.)
Accuracy
±0.065% of calibrated span (including linearity, hysteresis, and repeatability) under reference conditions: temperature 15–35°C (59–95°F), static pressure 0 MPa, and ambient pressure 0.1 MPa
Stability
±0.1% of URL (Upper Range Limit) per 5 years
Output Signal
- Standard: 4–20 mA DC with HART® 7 protocol (two-way digital communication, superimposed on the analog signal)
- Optional: FOUNDATION Fieldbus (low-voltage mode) or PROFIBUS PA (conforms to IEC 61158-2 and EN 50170 standards)
Sensor Technology
Monocrystalline silicon resonant sensor; converts pressure into high-frequency resonant signals (≈10 kHz) for digital processing, minimizing drift and interference
Operating Temperature Range
- Ambient: -40–85°C (-40–185°F)
- Process: -30–100°C (-22–212°F) for standard models; up to 130°C (266°F) with optional cooling extension
- Storage: -50–100°C (-58–212°F)
Pressure Limits
- Overpressure: Up to 100 times the calibrated span (varies by range; e.g., 40 MPa for high-range models) without permanent damage, protected by a unique diaphragm design that stops pressure transmission to the sensor when overloaded
- Static pressure: Up to 40 MPa (depends on model)
Wetted Materials
- Diaphragm: Hastelloy® C-276, 316L stainless steel, or tantalum (optional for corrosive media)
- Diaphragm chamber: 316L stainless steel
- Seal ring: 316L stainless steel (soft type)
Housing Material
Aluminum (painted) or 316 stainless steel (optional for harsh environments)
Electrical Connections
- Conduit entries: M20 × 1.5 or ½ NPT (1/2 NPT optional)
- Wiring: 2-wire system; terminal block accepts 0.5–2.5 mm² (20–14 AWG) wires
Ingress Protection
IP66/IP67 (NEMA 4X) for standard models; IP68 optional (for submersible or high-moisture environments)
Safety Certifications
- Functional safety: SIL 2 compliance (per IEC 61508)
- Hazardous areas: ATEX, IECEx, FM, CSA, and UL certifications for explosive atmospheres (Ex ia, Ex d, etc., depending on model)
- General: CE marked, RoHS compliant
